Studio 54 was the legendary night club in Manhattan, New York, during the disco era. The glamorous club opened up at April 26^th 1977 in a former TV-studio. The address was 254 West 54^th street, New York, New York, and thereof the name Studio54.

During the club?s glory days it was visited by the biggest celeberties like Mick Jagger, Andy Warhol, Grace Jones, Liza Minelli, John Travolta, John Belushi, Truman Capote, Björn Borg and Donald Trump.

Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager were the founders and owners until early 1980 when the got sentenced to jail for tax fraud. Steve Rubell spent 1, 5 years in jail, but reopened the club once he got released. But the party was over and the club closed for good in 1986.

The ticket release for Studio54 will be held in the galleria (K-building) at 5.54 pm on April 7^th 2008. Last year the tickets were sold out within an hour so you got to be there in time.

To buy a ticket you need to bring your ID, Student Union membership card (Mecenat), and student nation- or EHVS membership. (EHVS members get a discount on the tickets).

You can only buy a ticket for one friend except yourself, and to do this you'll need your friends ID, Student Union membership card (Mecenat), and student nation- or EHVS membership as well. To clarify: each person can only buy 2 tickets, no exceptions.

There will be 50 guest cards available for people who are not students at Växjö University. The guest cards will be sold at the ticket release on April 7^th. To buy a guest card the host of the guest needs to bring their ID, Student Union membership card (Mecenat), and student nation- or EHVS membership and also the name and birth date of the guest. During the Studio54 party on April 11^th the host and guest has to arrive together, the host will be responsible for the guest during the entire evening. Each person can only be the host of one guest. The rule about a maximum of 2 tickets per person therefore declares that if you buy a ticket for yourself and for one guest, you can't on top of that buy a ticket for a friend.

During the night of Studio54 no Sivans work cards or similar will be valid since this night is arranged by Sex mfl, EHVS, and only our own tickets will be accepted. On each ticket there'll be a white square in which your birth date will be printed. If anything is changed/erased/added or similar, the ticket is invalid.

If you buy a ticket but decide not to go to Studio54 and want to sell your ticket to someone you have to contact Sex mfl and through us get a new ticket with the new person's birth date on. To get into Sivans on Studio54 April 11^th you have to bring your valid ticket and your ID.

If you loose your ticket, you will not be able to get a new one (your only alternative will be to buy a new one if we havn't sold out). Nobody will get in without a ticket, we won't make any exceptions.
